World Summit on Sustainable Development

CLIENT: Josco
VALUE: R62 million
ROLE: Project and Construction Managers

This was one of the first major international events to occur in South Africa. Our role was to manage and build the "Ubuntu Village", the main focus of the exhibition. This erection would be the biggest ever temporary facility in Africa and preparation and construction had to be complete within eight weeks.

Thanks to our great working relationships with contractors and other key providers, we effectively managed a large multidisciplinary team, mobilising people quickly. This basis of trust, good faith and hard work saw us complete all work within six weeks, giving exhibitors a full two extra weeks to prepare for a successful show.
